The National Home Inspector Examination is currently adopted and/or recognized by 26 states for home inspector regulation. It is also a membership requirement for the American Institute of Inspectors and American Society of Home Inspectors; is accepted by the National Association of Home Inspectors and the Florida Association of Building Inspectors; and is reimbursed by the US Veterans' Administration for military personnel re-entering the workforce.
